Schutz’s
Tree Farm began as Cedar Hill Tree Farm in 1978 on 10 acres of land in north Imlay City. Jeff Schutz founded the company to be a Christmas tree nursery, but as time past he discovered that there was a demand for his trees in residential landscaping.
As this property became full and expansion became necessary Jeff purchased another 25 acres in 1988, at its current location in Imlay City. Since then we have expanded our selection to over 60 types of deciduous and evergreen trees, and over 80 types of deciduous and evergreen shrubbery. Not to mention or new and rapidly growing selection of flowering perennials. Also our repertoire of services has expanded to professional landscape design, construction and installation, landscape consulting, grounds maintenance, topsoil and mulch delivery and ash replacement.
We are happy to announce the recent expansion at our current location, of an additional 65 acres. We are looking forward to growing our business to provide more of the trees and shrubs our customers demand. As well as supplying our patrons with the best services we can offer, and that they have grown to expect when doing business with Schutz’s Tree Farm Inc.
